Immigration Law

LET THE EXPERT LEAD YOU TO YOUR FUTURE…Attorney Bhavsar is one of only fifty-seven attorneys in Florida to be Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law. Certification is the highest level of recognition by The Florida Bar of competency and experience of attorneys in the area of law approved for certification by the state Supreme Court. Protect your family’s dreams by a qualified expert.

Since the September 11th attacks in 2001, the immigration world has drastically changed. The Immigration and Naturalization Service, commonly referred to as INS, is now under the Department of Homeland Security as the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS). We find that every application to immigrate to the United States, whether temporary or permanent, is reviewed and questioned more than ever before.

It is essential that you have an attorney who specializes in immigration law and is up to date on the latest changes. More importantly, you need an attorney who is willing to provide you with an honest evaluation of your situation. Please do not rely on notarios, immigration officers or consultants to tell you how immigration laws affect you. In fact, many noncitizens who would otherwise qualify for immigration benefits discover they will never be successful because an immigration “consultant” destroyed their dreams. Don’t let this happen to you. While many legitimate and well-spirited community and religious organizations provide immigration-related services, non-lawyers who advertise as legal “consultants” or “notarios” are not authorized or qualified to help with immigration matters. By promising too much—-and knowing to little—-unauthorized consultants often shatter immigrants’ dreams. Many are little better than scam artist, taking their clients trust and money and never having to answer for the results. It is against the law for public notaries or even foreign lawyers who are not licensed in the United States to provide immigration advice—-even “just” filling out forms is something that only a licensed, properly trained lawyer should do. Furthermore, only an attorney specializing in immigration law is required to know the law and provide you with all your options.

At the Bhavsar Law Group, we are able to represent you at any CIS office in the United States as well as any American Embassy or Consulate around the world. We draft applications, assist in gathering the supporting documents, monitor your case, inquire into the status of your case, as well as prepare and attend immigration interviews with you.
